Ye is an entertainer getting cancelled for comments. Biden is a lifelong public servant who said, you ain't black if you don't vote for me. He becomes POTUS. How does this reconcile?
Ye's comments were antisemitic, so what about this comment from Joe Biden?
On its face who would you think should have a bigger consequence for making statements.
Not only are the consequences different, one person got promoted.
Culturally we are fine with this discrepancy.
It's a validation of importance. Biden is a puppet and Ye is extremely important.
It also confirms that we are puppets. These people in power at these companies and behind politicians tell us what to be outraged about and who to be outraged at.
